New Job!

It is about time!

After working for 3 years for a financial services firm 30 miles from home, I made a leap, posted my resume and 3 days later, got an offer, accepted and resigned!

SO excited to be moving into a job in HR from corporate finance. Debits, credits, journal entries be damned! I want to work with people! And WAY closer to home!

Now, of course, I'm working on a new (vegan, obvi) wardrobe. Shopping for a new bag for work: love all these:

On the relationship front, the past two weeks have been really great. Our counselor, C, is really great. And it feels like we're making great progress. I'm so proud of M - he's been so brave in really starting to introspect and understand his feelings.

Speaking of M, we've spent the past two weeks packing up our first home together. He's moving in with a friend nearby, and I'm still a mile away in my new apartment. It was our first home together, and we're both feeling pretty sad about it. It's amazing to see how much two people can collect over 3 years in one place. But the upside is that... we're going to move back in together at the end of the summer! Likely a 3 bedroom (with room for a nursery)! It feels momentous, and exciting, almost more exciting than the first time we moved in together in 2007.

And now someone help me quiet this biological clock! Reminds me of Marisa Tomei in that scene in My Cousin Vinny:
